The number of homes on the market fell slightly in July in 29 major cities (NOT Seattle however). Sellers who can afford to wait, and want to, have retreated to an extent and pulled their listings.
It's typical to see listing inventory drop about this time every year however no matter what as the spring 'rush' (or 'limp') ends.
Qualified buyers can afford to be choosy right now because they are a select few!
